My funny trio

What a treat to wake up with this bedroom view.

The days are as long as the nights - what a joy. Recently we have enjoyed the sun quite often, too!

This is the formation of these two always after training (the football field). If Kiila would be along she would have the front position (in the winter I prefer too leave her home, too cold to wait when to others are training)

Kiila with her own fun on the paths. We have a new challenge - learning different kind of signs, she really is pretty deaf. Last weekend I let all three dogs to look for this "snow balls". What a mistake, it was plus degrees, so poor Jinga was instantly covered with huge snowballs.

We have been training also on a lake or in the hall with a small group of obedience people. But much more training is needed if we would like to go to the competitions. Hopefully, the longer and longer days will help us to achieve the training mode needed for competitions.

"Mummy, there is someone's glove up on the tree, please, pick it up."

Jinga takes advantage of Prikka's finding. Prikka has been so good with finding the gloves I keep losing (on purpose or by accident). She runs a long way along the path to get the fallen glove. And this is a mission, clearly. If that would be toy hunting, she would let the other two find the the "treasure". But when she on duty she happily picks up the "treasure" and brings it up to me. One day we were leaving for a walk, after passing a couple of houses I noticed I had forgotten my mittens by the front door. Prikka ran happily to get them for me. She is still the most serious dog I ever met. She has her own way with her instincts. She uses her nose a lot, she uses her eyes, too, she is the only dog that is looking at the sky and notices the sun or moon, if there is something weird in them. Now, I have a flu coming with a unpleasant chest pain, she keeps on listening/smelling my chest, having this weird expression on her face.

Yesterday evening and the shy sun.

These funny dogs, in my trio, had certain character to be seen as puppies, and they still do. Kiila is turning twelve this autumn. She still is a very steady dog and would love to have much more attention as she does. Her condition is very  good at the moment, the age can been seen in her hearing (which hardly exists) and her hunger. She is always hungry. Other than that she is very slim and full of life.
Jinga is still the dynamite one with her eight years (next summer), she loves to run, she loves the action but unluckily not at all more steady with her working attitude. My funny trio.
The evening light

The evening light with the moon a couple of weeks earlier.

Well deserved nap, the bones,  muscles and vertebra all fine. Thanks , Kingi & Kamu!
This nap is after a long skiing trip in Isolahti, the poor doggies suffered from the water on the ice. A bit cold and unpleasant. Our small Myllyjärvi lake nearby is just lovely and dry. How do people know  whicj lakes are fine this time of the year?
